Polly Ralph currently serves as a Senior Manager in PwC's Cyber Security & Data Protection team. She was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor (High Court of New Zealand) in 2006. Having worked exclusively in data protection/privacy roles since 2004, she started her career at the NZ Privacy Commission, investigating data privacy complaints and breaches, and preparing cases for tribunal proceedings. Ralph then joined the Legal team at NZ Police as a privacy specialist, responsible for providing in-house advice on a broad range of privacy issues. Following her move to the UK, she spent four years in the BBC's Legal team as a data protection specialist, where she was responsible for providing advice on the legal, policy and compliance data protection issues impacting the BBC. She then moved on to the Domestic & General Insurance Group, where she was the Group's lead for data protection & privacy matters across its UK and International operations.
