Intel Corp. has introduced Intel Data Protection Technology for Transactions, which provides end-to-end encryption of consumer and financial data built into point-of-sale platforms. The solution combines software optimized for retailers with Intel hardware, including Intel Core and Intel Atom processors.

Intel Data Protection Technology for Transactions adds an extra layer of software to protect the payment process, complementing current retail investments in EMV, tokenization and other data protection technologies. The software resides and runs on the Intel chipset for enhanced security and helps close the gaps between data transmitted between POS devices and the data center, the company says.

Arbor Networks Introduces Peakflow
Arbor Networks introduces Peakflow 7.0, an updated platform for DDoS attack detection and mitigation response. With Peakflow 7.0, service providers can detect Fast Flood DDoS attacks and initiate mitigation in less than thirty seconds, the company says.
Peakflow combines anomaly detection and traffic engineering with threat management, which detects and removes only attack traffic while maintaining other business traffic.

Zscaler Launches APT Protection
Zscaler has released Zscaler Fall 2014, an Internet security and compliance platform. The platform includes new capabilities for advanced persistent threat protection, guest Wi-Fi security, global administration, policy management and reporting of security risks.
Zscaler Fall 2014 offers Internet security, APT protection, data loss prevention, SSL decryption, traffic shaping, policy management, security assessment and threat intelligence - without the need for on-premises hardware, appliances or software.

Bell ID Launches Tokenization Manager
Bell ID has launched its Tokenization Manager software. The solution is designed to help card issuers and merchants to enhance security and limit fraud by facilitating tokenized payments.
Tokenization Manager, which supports mobile NFC payments, will be used by token requesters, such as card issuers, to manage payment tokens; digital wallet providers to deliver tokens to support mobile NFC payments; and merchants to replace card on-file storage of primary account numbers.
