F. Ward Holloway of Forescout Technologies sorts through what he sees as common misconceptions about the "zero trust" approach to security, including the assumption that it can prove to be too costly and complex to implement.

In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent Cybersecurity Summit in New York, Holloway also discusses:

  • How zero trust can help with detecting known and unknown threats.

Holloway is senior director of global strategic alliances at Forescout Technologies. where he is responsible for the company's partnerships and product integrations with key security vendors, including Palo Alto Networks. He has previously held executive, director and engineering positions in business development, sales and engineering at several IT security companies and startups, including Check Point Software Technologies, Crossbeam Systems, FireMon and Fireglass (acquired by Symantec).
